Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students in the Elementary Behavior Program.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
- Facilitate group sessions focused on social skills, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide immediate support when needed.
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Serve as a liaison between the school families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student well-being and promoting positive behavior.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
