We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students. We are seeking a passionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students in the Elementary Behavior Program.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
  • Facilitate group sessions focused on social skills, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and provide immediate support when needed.
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student well-being and promoting positive behavior.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
