School Social Worker (SSW) Opening - Issaquah, Washington - Current School Year

We are searching for a School Social Worker (SSW) to join our partner school in the Issaquah, Washington area. As a School Social Worker, you will work with students in K - 12th grade to provide support for the school year!

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
• Must have ESA Certification
• Must have or willing to complete OSPI Fingerprints
• Must have the WA Social Worker License
• Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required. 

Position Details:

• Current school year
• Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week
• Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $35 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

• Assess the social and emotional needs of students and develop intervention strategies to address these needs.
• Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to students while education staff and family as needed.
• Teach targeted skills and provide individual case management to achieve targeted goals.
