Details/Specifications:
- Full time- Starting at $50 hourly and DOE
- 2024 to 2025 School Year
- Students K - 12th Grade
- Onsite
The Speech Language Pathologist will work with school students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy services to help students improve their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary through high school students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with teachers and parents to implement them
- Provide therapy services to students to improve their communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and other professionals as necessary
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in speech language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Must have CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Educator Cert required
- Experience working with students K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech language pathology
