School Speech Language Pathologist Job Full-Time - Dearborn, MI

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Dearborn, MI area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students improve their speech and communication skills.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid Michigan SLP License from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Michigan Special Education rules, IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), and best practices for school-based therapy.
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on evaluation results.
• Provide therapy in both individual and group settings to support student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students meet their IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and stay informed about current practices in speech-language pathology.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet student needs.
