Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment, providing essential speech and language services to students in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, to address identified speech and language challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
- Stay informed about current best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current South Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in the field.
- Experience working within a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
