School Speech Language Pathologist Needed

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Gaffney, SC for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication and language development in a supportive educational environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy services.
• Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensure: Active South Carolina SLP license.
• Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting.
• Additional Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for a South Carolina Department of Education certification to work in public schools.
