Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in Quinlan, Texas. Position Details

Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address identified needs.
  • Providing direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

  • A valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred).
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
