School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position within school districts in the Huber Heights, OH area. We are seeking experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting the communication needs of students and are committed to excellence in education.

Position Overview: 

• Location: Huber Heights, OH
• Job Type: Full-time contract

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations on speech and language goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the achievement of goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.

Requirements:

• Ohio Department of Education license as an SLP.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and other educational frameworks.
