Full-Time School Audiologist – Columbia, SC

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Audiologist for a full-time, school-based position in the Columbia, South Carolina area. Position Details:

• Location: Columbia, SC area

• Schedule: Full-time, during school hours

• Contract: 2025–2026 school year (renewal based on performance)

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program

• Valid South Carolina Audiologist License through the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from ASHA preferred

• Must pass background check and drug screening as required by the district

• School-based experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities May Include:

• Conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations for students

• Collaborate with special education and general education staff

• Develop and implement individualized audiology services for students with hearing impairments

• Recommend and manage hearing amplification devices (e.g., hearing aids, FM systems)

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and accommodations

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
