As a BCBA in Mount Vernon, you will be responsible for conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to implement and monitor effective behavioral strategies. Your work will directly contribute to fostering a positive, supportive educational environment where students can thrive.

Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs): Evaluate students’ behavior to identify triggers and root causes, using data to inform intervention strategies.
Develop and Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Tailor BIPs to meet the unique behavioral needs of each student.
Monitor & Collect Data: Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and ensure that interventions are effective.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure the successful implementation of behavior strategies.
Staff Training & Support: Provide ongoing support and training to educators and families on how to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.
We’re looking for a BCBA who has the following qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Certification: Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Experience: Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other stakeholders.
