In Harvey, LA—a dynamic community just outside New Orleans—we are seeking a certified Educational Diagnostician to join a collaborative team for the upcoming school year. State and Federal Requirements:

• Valid Louisiana certification as an Educational Diagnostician or Pupil Appraisal Staff

• Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field

• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education eligibility criteria

• Fingerprint/background clearance

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Description/Duties:

• Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate students for special education services

• Interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioral data to inform eligibility decisions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators on IEP development

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding timelines and documentation

• Serve as a resource for staff on intervention strategies and instructional supports
