Looking for General Education Teacher in New Orleans (K-12)

We are seeking a committed and qualified General Education Teacher to serve a K–12 caseload in a school setting for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year in New Orleans, LA. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to support student growth and achievement in a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas

• Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

• Use data-driven strategies to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with families

• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and administration to ensure student success

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Active Louisiana Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with K–12 students in a classroom setting preferred

• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills

• Passion for education and a commitment to student development

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting hourly rate: $38 (with potential for increase based on experience)
