We are seeking a committed and qualified General Education Teacher to serve a K–12 caseload in a school setting for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year in New Orleans, LA. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to support student growth and achievement in a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.
Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas
Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Use data-driven strategies to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with families
Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and administration to ensure student success
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
Active Louisiana Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working with K–12 students in a classroom setting preferred
Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
Passion for education and a commitment to student development
Starting hourly rate: $38 (with potential for increase based on experience)
