School-Based LPN (Full-Time) – Elementary School | GA

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Elementary School, Georgia
Duration: ASAP – May 23rd, 2025
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 support for an elementary school student who requires specialized medical care. The selected candidate will work closely with school staff and medical professionals to ensure the student's safety and well-being throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct medical care for a wheelchair-bound male student
• Administer and monitor G-Tube feedings
• Assist with oxygen administration and monitoring
• Perform suctioning and chest physiotherapy as needed
• Monitor and respond to seizures
• Assist with positioning, support, toileting, and changing
• Collaborate with school personnel to create a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications:

• Active LPN License in Georgia
• Previous school-based nursing experience required
• Experience with the listed medical needs is mandatory
