Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide essential health and nursing support to students and staff in schools across Aurora, IL. This role is vital in fostering a safe, healthy, and productive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing services including medication administration, health assessments, and first aid according to school policies and state regulations.

• Support students with chronic health conditions, medical needs, and individualized healthcare plans (IHPs).

• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support students’ health and well-being.

• Assist in implementing health education and wellness initiatives within the school setting.

• Monitor students’ health status and communicate any concerns or emergencies promptly.

• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation as required by Illinois state law and school district policies.

• Ensure compliance with state nursing practice guidelines and school health protocols.

• Provide assistance to students with mobility, personal care, or adaptive equipment as needed.

• Promote a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with school-age children.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff.

• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.

• Ability to follow state and district nursing guidelines and health protocols.

• Physical ability to assist students with mobility or personal care needs when necessary.
