Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a school-based setting. This full-time position involves working 1:1 with a student, providing necessary medical care, and ensuring their well-being throughout the school day. The ideal candidate must have experience working with students from K-12th grade, be comfortable with bus riding if needed, and be open to toileting/diapering responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing services to a student as needed.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as per the student's care plan.
• Support students with mobility and daily living tasks, including toileting/diapering.
• Monitor the student’s health and respond to emergencies.
• Ride the school bus with the student if required.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (PA).
• School-based nursing experience is required.
• Experience handling a K-12th grade caseload.
• Ability to obtain and complete all PA clearances.
• Comfortable working in an urban school setting.
