Position Overview

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive public school team in Poulsbo, Washington for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is primarily in-person, working with K–12 students to support their functional performance and participation in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to students in individual and group sessions

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs

• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom

• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports

• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and program planning

• Train and consult with staff to promote carryover of skills across school activities

Qualifications

• Valid & active Washington State OT license (Required)

• Active OSPI fingerprints clearance

• US citizenship required for district compliance

• Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Teaching Certificate in Occupational Therapy (Required)

• Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
