School Paraprofessional
Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a student in a Severe and Profound classroom through the end of the current school year. The role involves assisting with mobility and communication needs and requires basic ASL proficiency.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 assistance to a student with significant physical and communication needs

Use basic sign language to support student communication

Assist with mobility, transitions, and daily activities

Collaborate with classroom staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Reinforce behavior plans and promote engagement
Qualifications:

Basic American Sign Language (ASL) skills required

Prior experience with special education or 1:1 support preferred

Ability to support students with physical disabilities
-
Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
