Paraprofessional – High Needs Behavior (Elementary Level)
Location: Onsite (School site TBD), Illinois
Schedule: ASAP – May 27th, 2025 | 32 hours/week

Job Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support elementary students with high needs behaviors for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year. This is an in-person, onsite position within an Illinois school district (specific school site to be determined).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to elementary students with behavioral challenges

• Assist in implementing behavior intervention strategies

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support teams to maintain a positive learning environment

• Support students throughout their school day to ensure safety and engagement

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Illinois Paraprofessional License

• Experience working with elementary-aged students and/or students with high needs behaviors

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
