Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and compassionate Physical Therapists (PTs) for a full-time opportunity within school districts in the Hoquiam, Washington area. This position is ideal for professionals dedicated to improving student mobility and supporting physical development in educational settings.

Position Details:

• Location: Hoquiam, WA and surrounding districts

• Type: Full-Time, Contracted

• Start Date: Immediate

• Renewal: Contract renewal based on performance and district needs

Required Qualifications:
All applicants must meet Washington State and local district requirements, including:

• Active Washington State Physical Therapist License (issued by the WA Department of Health)

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)

• Eligibility for or possession of an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate through the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)

• Prior pediatric or school-based experience preferred

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to pass state-mandated fingerprinting and background checks

Typical Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical or mobility challenges

• Deliver direct therapy services as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Monitor and document student progress

• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families as part of the IEP team

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations

• Educate and support staff in implementing mobility equipment and positioning strategies
