Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position in partnership with school districts in the Philadelphia, PA area. We are seeking qualified, passionate professionals dedicated to supporting students' behavioral and academic success.

Position Details:

  • Location: Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas

  • Schedule: Full-time, school-based position

  • Contract Duration: Current school year with potential renewal based on performance

Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered, including:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)

  • Completion of 40-hour RBT training program from a BACB-approved provider

  • Successful completion of the RBT Competency Assessment

  • Passing score on the RBT examination

  • Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by Indiana state law and school district policies

  • Up-to-date TB test and physical examination (as required by the district)

  • Experience working with children or in educational settings is preferred
     

    Pennsylvania State Requirements:

  • FBI Criminal History Clearance (Department of Human Services or Education, as applicable)

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (ChildLine)

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check

  • Mandated Reporter Training (Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse in PA)

  • Up-to-date TB test and physical examination (may be required by individual districts)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Provide one-on-one or group behavior support to students in classroom settings

  • Collect data and maintain documentation of student progress

  • Support teachers and staff in managing classroom behavior

  • Communicate regularly with the BCBA, teachers, and parents regarding student progress

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
