State and Federal Requirements:
Active LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) credential issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
Knowledge of and compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and other federal regulations.
Successful background check and fingerprinting per Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements.
Job Description/Duties:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
Develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with school teams, families, and other professionals to support student success
Offer counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis response as needed
Maintain documentation in accordance with school district and state standards
