K-12 School Psychologist in Desoto, TX

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and compassionate School Psychologists for full-time positions with partner school districts in the DeSoto TX area. Position Details:

• Location: Desoto, TX

• Schedule: Full-Time

• Contract Term: Current school year, with potential renewal based on performance

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered, candidates must meet all local and state certification/licensure requirements, which may include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution

• Valid Texas School Psychologist licensure or appropriate certification

• Completion of required internships or clinical practicum hours

• Background check and fingerprint clearance per Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements

• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services to students as outlined in IEPs or educational support plans

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine student needs

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic, behavioral, and emotional development

• Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations

• Support positive behavior intervention plans and student progress monitoring
