Applicant Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet all local and state licensing and certification requirements, including:
Possession of a valid Indiana Department of Education license or certification as a School Psychologist.
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws, including IDEA, Section 504, and ADA.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Typical Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and IEPs.
Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
Monitor student progress and recommend adjustments to interventions as needed.
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain detailed records and participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
