School Psychologist (Bilingual Preferred) – Full-Time | San Marcos, TX
Position: School Psychologist (Bilingual Preferred, Not Required) – School-Based
Location: San Marcos, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 Hours/Week)
Contract Dates: August 12, 2025 – May 28, 2026
Additional Training Dates: 2 Professional Learning (PL) days prior to 8/12/25


Position Overview:

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time opportunity in San Marcos, TX for the 2025–2026 school year. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, but the district is now open to non-bilingual School Psychologists as well. This role will be part of a collaborative evaluation team model, providing rotating coverage across a group of campuses.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary evaluation teams across multiple campuses

  • Contribute to the development of IEPs and attend eligibility/ARDC meetings

  • Support staff with behavioral interventions and strategies

  • Rotate between assigned campuses while maintaining a home base location

  • Participate in two additional PL days prior to the contract start for team training

  • No in-service, parent/community day, or additional staff days once school begins


Qualifications:

  • Active Texas School Psychologist certification (LSSP required)

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required

  • Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology or related field

  • Experience in school settings or with multidisciplinary teams preferred

  • Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
