Full-Time School Psychologist Position - Upcoming School Year - Sugarland, TX
Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for experienced School Psychologists for full-time roles within school districts in the Sugar Land, TX area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
Details:
- Location: Sugarland, TX
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) certification
- Completion of a state-approved internship in School Psychology
- Eligibility to work in public schools in Texas (must pass all background checks)
- Previous experience in a K–12 school setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
