American Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Needed | Full-Time 25/26 School Year in Greenville
Our school district is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment for all. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support communication for our students. This role is vital in ensuring our services are fully accessible to everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and effective interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language in various settings.
- Collaborate with deaf and hearing individuals to promote a positive communication experience.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
- Licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter.
- Previous experience working as an ASL interpreter required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Weekly direct deposit at a competitive rate based on experience starting at 39/hr+.
