Sign Language Interpreter Opening
Blazer Jobs is hiring a full-time Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide 1:1 support for a first-grade student for the 2025–2026 school year. This position is entirely onsite and requires experience interpreting in elementary school settings.
Job Responsibilities:

Interpret spoken communication into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa

Assist the student in classroom instruction and school activities

Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff

Ensure full communication access throughout the school day

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations
Qualifications:

An EIPA score of at least 3.5

Previous experience working in school settings preferred

Strong skills in ASL and English communication

Reliability and a collaborative attitude
