Sign Language Interpreter

Blazer Jobs is hiring a full-time Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support a middle school student on a 1:1 basis for the 2025–2026 school year. This onsite position requires an interpreter who is consistent, proactive, and experienced in working with students who benefit from routine and visual support strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for a middle school student in all academic settings

• Implement visual schedules and assist with transitions throughout the day

• Support the student with consistent routines and preparation for schedule changes

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure student engagement and success

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:
To be considered for an interview, candidates must have:

• Active SLI license in good standing

• Experience in a school-based setting preferred

• Previous 1:1 experience a strong plus

• Ability to remain calm and flexible in a dynamic school environment
