- Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) – District near Durham, CA
- Full-Time - approx. 30 hrs per week – 6 hours per day
- NSY – 25/26 – 8/13/25 – 5/28/26
- Facilitate communication and education among hard of hearing and deaf students and their hearing peers, the classroom teacher and other personnel in the school system
- Provide sign to voice and voice to sign interpreting
- Assist students in academic subjects such as reading, writing and math; work effectively with students in classrooms and assist them in vocational and/or living skills
- Monitor students during classroom, outdoor or community activities
- Contract dates: August 2025 – May 2026
- Must have active SLI National Certification
- Most districts require at least a 3.5 EIPA score
- EIPA, RID, or NIC
- Bachelor’s degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting
- Must have active SLI National Certification
- EIPA, RID, and NIC
- Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf, or have achieved a score of 4.0 or above on the EIPA, the ESSE-I/R, or the NAD/ACCI assessment
