ASL Interpreter Needed for K-12 School District

Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled ASL Interpreter for a full-time position in Stockton, California. The interpreter will facilitate communication for deaf or hard-of-hearing students within the educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation between ASL and spoken English during classroom instruction and school activities.

• Support students' access to curriculum and participation in school events.

• Collaborate with educators to ensure effective communication strategies.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Valid certification such as EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, RID, or NIC.

• Compliance with California Department of Education requirements for interpreters.

• At least one year of experience interpreting in a school setting.
