Details:
- Location: Adrian, MI
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements – Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (issued by LARA)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred – CFY candidates accepted
- Must meet school district onboarding and background check requirements
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based service delivery preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K–12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
