A highly regarded school district near Anchorage, Alaska is hiring a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations; complete thorough documentation and reports
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Alaska SLP License (or ability to obtain before start)
Alaska Educator Certification (required to provide school-based services in AK)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
