Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students across multiple school settings in Birmingham, Alabama for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year.
Caseload Details:
Self-contained classrooms across a variety of schools and age groups
Includes:
Preschool
Elementary School
Middle School
High School
Qualifications (Required):
Valid Alabama Professional Educator Certification
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience in special education or related services
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language services across multiple developmental levels
Collaborate with special education teams to support student communication goals
Develop and implement IEP goals and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
Utilize evidence-based methods and track student progress
Ideal Candidate:
Confident in working independently across a range of school environments
Experienced in supporting students with diverse and complex communication needs
Strong in collaboration, communication, and documentation
