Typical Job Duties:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, and fluency.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success in the classroom.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare reports as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Current Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation or eligibility to obtain one.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision available.

• Compliance with all federal and state requirements for school-based SLPs in Texas.

• Successful background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state and district regulations.
