Typical Job Duties:
Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success.
Maintain accurate and timely records, including documentation of progress.
Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Education and Licensure Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid Florida state license or eligibility for licensure before start date.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred.
Knowledge of IDEA, ADA, and state education requirements.
Clinical experience in a school-based setting preferred.
