Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position in collaboration with school districts in the Plymouth, MN area. We are seeking dedicated professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives through exceptional speech and language support.
Position Requirements
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements for school-based Speech Language Pathologists in Minnesota:
Hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution
Possess a valid Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) License as a Speech Language Pathologist
Maintain an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision
Successfully complete and pass required criminal background checks and fingerprinting
Must have prior experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting
Typical Responsibilities
Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for services
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
Track student progress and document therapy sessions
Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and parent conferences
Support communication needs across academic settings to improve educational outcomes
