Join Our Team: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Durham, NC

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Durham, North Carolina. This full-time, onsite position will support a diverse K-12 caseload in collaboration with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

• Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP

• Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of student progress

• Support IEP goals through direct intervention and communication with team members

• Assist in preparing therapy materials and organizing activities

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student outcomes

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree from an accredited SLPA program

• Active North Carolina SLPA license

• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred

• Ability to follow therapy plans and work effectively under supervision

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
