Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program
- Active Texas SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Fingerprint clearance and background check per Texas education requirements
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans for students
- Conduct speech and language screenings under supervision
- Support students in developing communication skills as directed by the SLP
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and staff
- Work with diverse student populations across grade levels
