Social Worker Role in School Setting

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Social Workers for a full-time role with school districts in the Red Lion, PA area. We are looking for professionals committed to helping students navigate social and emotional challenges while supporting their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social and emotional needs.
• Assess student and family needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student well-being.
• Assist in crisis intervention, behavior management, and conflict resolution.
• Connect students and families with appropriate community resources and support services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Valid Pennsylvania School Social Worker certification.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
