We are hiring a Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a high school separate setting in Albemarle, NC for the 2025-2026 school year. This role requires an educator with expertise in Adapted Curriculum, who is passionate about working with students who need specialized support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support for students in a separate setting

• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals

• Modify curriculum to accommodate diverse learning needs

• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, support staff, and families

• Utilize behavioral and instructional strategies to foster student success

Requirements:

• Active NC SPED Licensure in Adapted Curriculum (must be attached to application)

• Experience in a high school separate setting preferred

• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills

• Must be comfortable working in an on-campus, full-time role
