Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Setting: Onsite Only

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a resource setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with students who have mild disabilities, helping them achieve academic success through targeted interventions and support.

Position Details:

• Grades: 6th – 8th

• Caseload: 30-35 students

• Resource setting – providing pull-out and push-in support

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

• Develop and implement IEPs, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina SPED License (General Curriculum) – must be attached with application

• Previous experience in a middle school setting preferred

• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
