Travel Special Education Teacher (Full-Time) – $35+/hr | 2025–2026 School Year | North Carolina Statewide

Blazer Jobs is now hiring certified Special Education Teachers for full-time travel assignments throughout North Carolina for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a W2 contracted travel opportunity offering competitive weekly pay, benefits, and the chance to serve diverse K–12 student populations across urban, suburban, and rural districts.

Travel Locations Include:

Charlotte | Durham | Matthews | Statesville | Lincolnton | Burlington
Asheville | Bayboro | Zebulon | Henderson | Roxboro | Warrenton
Concord | Eden

Educators will be placed based on district need, skill fit, and personal location preferences where available.

Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 Contract (Travel-Based)

• Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday

• Compensation: $35+/hour (based on experience and assignment location)

• Contract Term: August 2025 – June 2026

• Renewal Potential: High (based on performance and staffing needs)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusive, resource, or self-contained settings

• Collaborate with school-based multidisciplinary teams and families

• Ensure compliance with IDEA and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction guidelines

• Adapt lesson plans to address individual learning goals and developmental needs

Required Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Special Education teaching license (or willingness to obtain)

• Prior experience working with diverse student populations and disability categories

• Ability to travel to assigned school sites across North Carolina

• Must meet all state and district employment requirements
