For the 2025–2026 school year, we are partnering with a supportive school district in Glendale Heights, IL to fill a full-time Special Education Teacher position. This is a meaningful opportunity to work with students who need a steady, confident educator to guide their academic and social-emotional development.


Position Details

Location: Glendale Heights, IL (school site shared during interview)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 35 hours per week
Start Date: August 2025 (or per district schedule)
Hours: Full time, onsite
Caseload: Varies by placement; elementary and/or middle school levels


What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Deliver direct instruction based on individualized education programs (IEPs)

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school teams

  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

  • Communicate consistently with families, service providers, and administrators

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment focused on growth and respect

  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance deadlines

Who We’re Looking For

  • Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 Endorsement

  • Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
