Special Education Teacher Job Available

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with school districts in the San Tan Valley, AZ area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to support students with diverse learning needs.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education.
• Hold an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Demonstrate prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting.
• Meet all state and local requirements, including:
• Completion of a state-approved educator preparation program.
• Compliance with Arizona’s special education endorsement requirements based on grade level and student population.
• Adherence to state-mandated background checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to support diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure inclusive education.
• Track student progress, conduct assessments, and modify teaching strategies as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school personnel to discuss student goals and progress.
• Create a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students with disabilities.
