Schools Speech Language Pathologist- Cassopolis, Michigan

Location: Cassopolis, Michigan

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Cassopolis, Michigan. The SLP will work within a school setting and provide speech and language services to students with a wide range of needs, including language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine speech and language needs of students
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual student needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and service delivery
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate progress to parents and other team members
• Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Michigan SLP license or ability to obtain licensure
• ASHA certification or eligibility for certification
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
