Blazer Jobs is hiring a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to serve a diverse student population in Virginia Beach, Virginia during the 2025–2026 school year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments in various educational settings.

• Modify instructional materials and environments using Braille, tactile methods, and assistive tech.

• Conduct vision assessments and support IEP development and implementation.

• Collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers.

• Promote independence and access to curriculum in school and community settings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Visual Impairment Education or related specialization

• Active Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Visual Impairments

• Skilled in Braille, accessible instructional design, and educational technologies

• Must meet state and federal qualifications for special education personnel
