Seeking Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist for Following School Year
Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time role in a school district in Florence, South Carolina, for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with speech therapists, audiologists, and special educators.
- Utilize assistive technology and communication methods (ASL, FM systems, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification for DHH required.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a school setting.
