We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and positively impact the lives of students.

About the Position:

As an SLPA with our district, you will play a crucial role in providing essential speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You will implement therapy plans, conduct screenings, and collaborate with teachers and parents to support student communication development.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) as designed by the supervising SLP.
  • Conduct speech and language screenings.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collect data and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines.
  • Assist with the preparation of therapy materials.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • Current Indiana SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.  
  • Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
