Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time role in school districts in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. This position focuses on early childhood caseloads, providing a unique opportunity to support the speech and language development of young learners.

Position Requirements:

  • Louisiana state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with early childhood students is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of early intervention strategies and the IEP (Individualized Education Program) process
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for young children with communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to the needs of early learners
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and strategies to help students thrive
