We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for K-12 students
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities in both general and special education settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to promote learning and growth

Requirements:

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field, with active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
• Experience: Experience working with K-12 students with special needs is preferred
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge: Familiarity with IEP development and state/federal regulations in special education
